A talk jointly organised by St George’s Parish Church and the United Nations Association of Northern Ireland was given by Angus Lambkin on Tuesday 14 March 2017 St George’s Parish Hall, Belfast.
Angus is from Belfast and works as a standby expert on mission with the United Nations. Deploying into humanitarian emergencies around the world, he coordinates assistance to populations most in need.
Most recently he has been working with UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Iraq and previously has worked with UNHCR (UN Refugee Agency) in the Central African Republic and UNICEF (UN Children’s Fund) in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Angus will shortly be returning to Iraq where he will be co-ordinating delivery of assistance to the people of Mosul.
